Like yoga, no one is “bad” at mediation. You do by practice! Join Karen “Shanti” Caiazzo Thursday nights at 6:30 pm for a 30-minute sit. We will practice breathing techniques, mantra, and open-eye meditation. Appropriate for beginners and seasoned meditators.
Join Elliott & Lynne and practice the Second Series of aṣtanga yoga. This practice builds on the work in our regular Primary Series classes, but focuses more on backbending and hip opening, with some fun inversions, dynamic jumping postures, and of course the 7 headstands. Postnatal (for mommies with infants prior to crawling): Cambridge – 2:00pm Mondays with Devon and Thursdays with Barrett; Somerville – 10am Fridays with Devon

In November let’s stabilize and ground with binds. Whether you can reach your hands behind your back or not, binds have something for everyone. We use binds to help establish a point of contact through which we can achieve more depth.
